New--Fundraising Ideas. We're starting a fundraising idea page with two companies which have approached the AMA, have programs that are compatible with student interests, and seem to be reasonably good ways for chapters to raise money. If you have a fundraising idea you would like to share, please send it to Teresa Bates at tbates@ama.org, and we'll post it--so that everyone can benefit!
International Collegiate Conference, 07-08 Our next Conference will take place April 3-5, 20008 at the Sheraton Hotel, New Orleans. Our case competition will feature McGraw-Hill as the sponsor. Information about this event and the competition will be posted as soon as available.

Tee-Shirts, Banners, etc. Need a hi-res AMA logo for your tee-shirts, banners, and other items? They can be had by request to the Collegiate Division, collegiate@ama.org.
Collegiate Connection Writers Wanted! International Headquarters is looking for student writers to write for the Collegiate Connection. The Connection is published eight times a year, September-May, and we are looking for students to write about various topics. Topics include: the collegiate experience, personal benefits of AMA membership, chapter events, etc. If you are interested in being a student reporter for the Collegiate Connection, please send an email to collegiate@ama.org.
Dues Increase
As of July 1, there will be a dues increase in international dues. As we all know, along with materials, supplies, and other items, expenses go up slightly each year. Student dues will be raised from $39 a year to $42 a year. This $3 raise is the first in over three years, and basically addresses increased costs. Other comparable national association dues run about $40-45 a years, so the AMA dues are pretty much in line with others.

November 16, 2007- Chapter Plan is due to International Headquarters. There is a new process for submitting the chapter plan, please check your awards booklet or www.marketingpower.com/collegiate for more information.

Chapter Management Handbook-The Collegiate Chapter Handbookprovides chapter leaders with ideas for successful Chapter management and operations.
2007-2008 Awards Program Booklet-The awards brochure provides chapter leaders with the rules and guidelines for the Annual Awards Program.
Chapter Management Forms- These forms are vital to renewing the Chapter charter and helping the Chapter meet required deadlines.
Collegiate Chapters Council - The Collegiate chapters Council is comprised of 8 AMA faculty advisors who serve an advisory role to the collegiate division and manage collegiate programs such as the case competition, International Collegiate Conference, and aware program. These 10 leaders are a resource for your questions relating to your collegiate chapter or membership! Council members work with states on a geographic basis.
